You Still Have Hope

If the sight of a rainbow still makes you stop and stare in wonder, then you still have hope.

If the soft fur of a favored pet still feels pleasant under your fingertips, then you still have hope.

If you meet new people with a trace of excitement and optimism, then you still have hope.

If you give people the benefit of a doubt, then you still have hope.

If you still offer your hand in friendship to others that have touched your life, then you still have hope.

If receiving an unexpected card or letter still brings a pleasant surprise, then you still have hope.

If the suffering of others still fills your with pain and frustration, then you still have hope.

If you refuse to let a friendship die, or accept that it must end, then you still have hope.

If you look forward to a time or place of quiet and reflection, then you still have hope.

If you still buy the ornaments, put up the Christmas tree or cook the supper, then you still have hope.

If you can look to the past and smile, then you still have hope.

If, when faced with the bad, when told everything is futile, you can still look up and end the conversation with the phrase..."yeah...BUT.," then you still have hope.

Hope is such a marvelous thing.

It bends, it twists, it sometimes hides, but rarely does it break.
It sustains us when nothing else can.
It gives us reason to continue and courage to move ahead, when we tell ourselves we'd rather give in.

Hope puts a smile on our face when the heart cannot manage.

Hope puts our feet on the path when our eyes cannot see it.

Hope moves us to act when our souls are confused of the direction.

Hope is a wonderful thing, something to be cherished and nurtured, and something that will refresh us in return.
And it can be found in each of us, and it can bring light into the darkest of places.

NEVER LOSE HOPE!

Hello, I'm Blake Johnson (member name shakenblakeluvsGod) . I'm 18 years old and I have been a Christian for 13 years. I enjoy reading, listening to Christian music, watching television, going to church, reading the Bible, and texting friends. My favorite artist is Peter Furler (former lead singer of the newsboys), favorite books are the Hunger Games books, and my favorite show is The O'Reilly Factor. I'm a fairly quiet person, but once you get to know me, I talk a lot more. I'm also very trustworthy, caring, and funny. The most important characteristic about me is I'm very dedicated to Biblical principles and I will not compromise on the truth. I'm known for standing up for God's Word and for what is right.
Prayer Meeting Notes

JESUS TEACHES US IF WE WANT OUR PRAYERS HEARD & ANSWERED, WE MUST:

1. BEGIN BY PRAISING, HONORING, & GLORIFYING HIS NAME.
2. REMIND HIM OF HIS WORD'S SCRIPTURAL PRAYER PROMISES.
3. ASK FIRST FOR THE SALVATION OF ALL THOSE YOU ARE PRAYING FOR.
4. LIFT UP THE PRAYER REQUESTS...ONE BY ONE
5. END YOUR PRAYERS WITH THANKING JESUS FOR HEARING/ANSWERING.

Weekly Devotion

"My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways. For a prostitute is a deep pit; an adulteress is a narrow well. She lies in wait like a robber and increases the traitors among mankind." Proverbs 23:26-28

Message From Richard

Greetings my brothers and sisters and welcome to our latest edition of Gods Faith Book's weekly newsletter. I'd like to once again welcome all our new members that have been joining us over the past week. It brings me great joy to welcome all of you to our growing community of friends and prayer warriors.

 WOW!

I am extremely pleased to see how many people are reading our weekly newsletter This is awesome!. It is important for us as believers to encourage everyone to put our trust in God and to follow HIS WORD. So please continue to spread the word about GFB and the programs that we offer.

We've decided to repeat a very successful prayer activity that we started last year.

Yes, it's going to happen. And probably with news cameras and TV crews filming away.

Once again Gods Faith book has combined prayer with innovation. The result? What we are hoping will be an additional way to seek out God's attention (And ideally, that of the media.)

"We will provide members with option to also have their prayers placed in a special bottle and launched at sea." "Once they are afloat, we are counting on the wind-blown currents to lead the bottle where it will have an additional opportunity to come within the Almighty's vision. Naturally, we don't know where that exact place might be but our faith will propel it to the right spot."

Let me point out that this is not contrary to Christian doctrine, And certainly not a substitute for conventional prayer. Just a repetitive way of talking to God. "Often, all of us repeat prayers just in case our earlier attempts do not produce immediate results. Sometimes, this extra effort draws miraculous intervention. We are hoping this one will, also."

I feel there are few things more intrinsic with the gifts of our Lord than the seas that span this world. HIS miracles involving water are found in many places throughout the Bible. Ideally, the placement of these prayers in the open sea enclosed within the bottle will add to HIS miracles."

But our plan is definitely doable, and I invite all existing and new members to visit GodsFaithBook for more information.

Remember, that this site does not belong to one person, it belongs to all of you. Without YOU, there is no US. Always Dare To Dream.
"Thank You Lord for this day, and for all you have done for us. Lord forgive us our sins, and help us with forgiveness of others. Lord please heal our bodies, minds and hearts, so that we are free and healthy in body, mind and Spirit. Lord may you guide, protect and provide for our family needs. In Jesus name we pray. Amen"
