Keystone Conference

Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana members have traveled to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for the 2011 Southeast Regional Keystone Conference. They were there from October 14th-16th. The National Keystone Conference is sponsored by the Taco Bell Foundation.

A national charter entitles a Keystone Club to participate in regional and national Keystone conferences. At the conference, 4 Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana members attended the seminars, did off-site community projects and heard motivational speakers. It was a positive leadership experience to engage and socialize with peers, explore relevant issues and develop skills that support and enhance their efforts in their Boys & Girls Clubs and communities. The conference is an educational experience and an opportunity to enhance leadership skills and personal development.
