A MESSAGE FROM THE SSMO
SUPERIOR GENERAL

Dear Families and Friends,

It happened again. It happens every year at this time. The "it" to which I am referring is the thrill and excitement over a new school year! The Valley Catholic enrollment (PreK through 12th grade) when school started yesterday was 988. We hope and pray this will be a great year for all involved.

In early August I attended the much publicized annual meeting of the LCWR (Leadership Conference of Women Religious) and it was a grace-filled time for me. Among the letters of support for the Sisters (amidst the doctrinal assessment by Rome) was a letter from a very grateful alumna who now lives in Iowa! Amazing when you realize that with over 100 tables and 1,500 cards and letters scattered on the tables that letter was read at another table and given to me.
