Dear Valley Catholic Families:

 

Bob WeberI have figured out a great way to deal with one of those busy weeks where you spend so much time in meetings that it is difficult to get your work done. One useful solution to this problem is to carve out some time in your morning to spend 15-20 minutes reading to our youngest Valiants in the Early Learning School.

Two VCS Seniors Win Arts Awards from the City of Beaverton

Two Valley Catholic High School seniors, Elizabeth Shew and Katherine Kraemer, have been selected recipients of arts awards by the Mayor and Beaverton City Council.
Got Hair to Spare May 11?

Campus Music Jamboree May 4

Mark your calendar for May 4 at 7 p.m.! Students from fourth-grade violin class to high school seniors will perform at this concert that showcases the musical progression of our students. 
Save the Date for Sr. Juliana's Retirement Party on May 20
Please join us to celebrate Sr. Juliana and her 41 years of bringing music to our campus community. The open house will be held Sunday, May 20, from 2-4 p.m. in the VCEMS Cafeteria.
 

Music School Seeks Additional Instructors

Valley Catholic Music School is looking to bring some additional independent contractors aboard to teach private lessons.

VCS Japanese Students Take Away Prizes at State-Wide Competition

Valley Catholic Japanese students had a great showing at the 24th Annual Japanese Speech Contest, held on Saturday, April 21, at the World Trade Center in Portland.

Ria Dela Rosa recently competed in a national competition in Arizona, and will travel to Ohio in June to compete again nationally.
 

Father John Kerns' Last Mass at Valley Catholic

Thursday, April 26 marked Fr. John Kerns' last Mass for Valley Catholic School. Father Kerns has been assigned to a new parish, Our Lady of the Lake in Lake Oswego, beginning July 1.
