A MESSAGE FROM THE SSMO SUPERIOR GENERAL

 

Dear Families and Friends, 

 

Our hearts continue to be filled with gratitude and joy when we recall the wonderful experiences we have had throughout our 125th Jubilee Year, especially last Sunday! We were thrilled to share our prayers of gratitude with approximately 800 guests. 

 

Knowing that not everyone could be present, we are dedicating this issue of the A View from the Dome to re-visiting the experience of the closing celebration. Sometime in the near future, we hope to be able to offer a DVD of the event to anyone interested.

Archbishop John Vlazny gave a stirring homily in honor of the Feast of the Annunciation as well as celebrating the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon and their 125th anniversary of serving God and our community.

Emotions ran high as SSMO Superior General Sr. Charlene Herinckx gave the closing statement during the Mass celebrating the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon's 125th Anniversary.
