Thank you to those community members who attended Wednesday's Bagels & Briefings to hear Lieutenant Governor Matt Denn at the Siegel JCC. This popular series is coordinated through Federation's Jewish Community Relations Committee (JCRC) led by JCRC Chair, John Elzufon. Within the past year, Bagels & Briefings featured Governor Jack Markell, Senator Chris Coons and Congressman John Carney.
Yesterday afternoon, we released our 2012/2013 edition of SHALOM Delaware, the Jewish Community Guide to Life in Delaware and the Brandywine Vally, to the printer. Copies will be mailed on July 9th and digital copies available online shortly thereafter. Special thanks to our valued advertisers who helped offset production costs and allowed us to produce another high-quality publication.

PJ Library Hits the Beach
 On Wednesday, July 18 at 11a.m., thePJ Library Program is visiting Rehoboth Beach. Come in from the sun for a special PJ Library storytime featuring Noah's Bark along with a yummy snack and animal craft to follow.

One Happy Camper
+ Matisyahu
 The Foundation for Jewish Camp's One Happy Camper program is teaming up with Matisyahu for the release of his new album "Spark Seeker" this summer! We will be hosting Matisyahu during his North American tour at New Jersey Y Cedar Lake Camp for a free acoustic concert on July 13 - a few days prior to the album release, with other area Jewish camps will be joining us for the show. Want to get a taste of camp this summer - join us for the LIVE STREAM of the show at jewishcamp.org. In celebration of this partnership, Matisyahu is offering all Jewish campers: A large part of the record was recorded in Israel using amazing Israeli musicians. The album contains ideas about Jewish heroes like the Baal Shem Tov, prayers in Hebrew, and stories of Israel, along with universal inspiration sourced in Judaism.
