AROUND THE WORLD

Greetings!,

The impact of the Jewish Federation here at home, in Israel and around the world is extraordinary, but it's not a surprise. For more than 75 years, the Jewish Federation of Delaware has been raising funds to meet the ongoing needs of the community with an innovative approach and an unparalleled record of success.

AT HOME
In our community, we provide financial assistance and counseling. We deliver meals to homebound seniors. We help fund and sustain our local beneficiary agencies (Siegel JCC, Albert Einstein Academy, Jewish Family Services of Delaware, the Kutz Home and UD Hillel), and other local organizations such as the Jewish Historical Society of Delaware and BBYO chapters in Wilmington, Newark and West Chester. We also help send young people on Taglit-Birthright Israel trips.

IN ISRAEL
Federation funds training and educational programs to break the cycle of poverty, mentoring and enrichment programs for children at risk, and programs to help new immigrants integrate successfully.

AROUND THE WORLD
Federation is active in over 70 countries. In Russia and other Eastern European countries, home to the world's poorest Jews, Federation-funded programs offer relief to 168,000 Jewish elderly while helping over 10,000 children attend Jewish day schools. In Latin America, we help
over 50,000 Jews with financial assistance and identity & renewal programs.

By working with a broad cross section of community members to raise and distribute funds, we ensure that the programs, institutions and values that enrich our Jewish community remain vibrant and strong. From feeding the hungry to helping the unemployed, from supporting families with special needs to funding Jewish education and Israel experiences, the Jewish Federation is focused on addressing the most pressing issues facing our community every day.

Shabbat Shalom,
