Through its AMEN youth volunteer program,  American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) has involved more than 50,000 young volunteers in community building initiatives throughout Israel. JDC, which is supported by the Jewish Federation of Delaware, recently added a family volunteerism element to the AMEN program, and increased efforts to reach at-risk, immigrant, Bedouin and special-needs populations around the country.
