Delaware Valley Learning Institute

 This Wednesday marked the first morning of classes through the Delaware Valley Learning Institute (DVLI).    

DVLI is in its second year at the Siegel JCC, and aims to provide "quality Jewish education that fits your busy life".

Classes cover a broad range, including American Jewish Artists, Kabbalah for Dummies, Bioethics - A Jewish Perspective, Wine, Women & Death: The Jewish Poetic Voice, Zionist History from Teddy to Today, and many more.

 

All classes are two - six weeks long, and each class is just $7 per week including refreshments and course materials.  Click here for more information.

"No Denying: Survivors"
, a film from the "No Denying: Delawareans Bear Witness to the Holocaust" documentary, will be screened at WILMFEST, Sunday, September 18, 12:30 PM, at the Delaware Art Museum, 2301 Kentmere Parkway, Wilmington, DE. The film features never before seen interviews with Delawareans who were eyewitnesses to the events of the Holocaust.
