Greetings!
Attending Shavuot Confirmation Services yesterday at Congregation Beth Emeth allowed me to see 18 teens continue their Jewish journey. We were reminded that the Torah is a symbol; a symbol of faith, a symbol of learning and a symbol of hope. It is a tree of life - handed down from generation to generation.
The confirmation class selected the theme, "The Times They Are A Changing", because this song remains as relevant today as it did decades ago. They embrace the concept of change in order to make a positive difference in the world. I am inspired by our new generation of role-models for the future. Shabbat Shalom Seth J.
