Greetings!

Yesterday, I was in Allentown, PA for a professional development day. It was an opportunity to share experiences with other communal professionals and I left feeling very energized. The Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Lehigh Valley closed the session quoting his father, a Holocaust survivor, who said, "BELIEVE that tomorrow will be a better day than today." This captured the essence of our collective work and provides hope for the future.

Thank you for believing and for all that you do in Improving Our World...TOGETHER.

Shabbat Shalom.

Unrest in Egypt
Egypt Unrest
Political protests continued to rock Egypt over the week, raising questions about the political future of one of Israel's only official allies in the Arab world. The Jewish Federations of North America, with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs held a teleconference on Tuesday with former U.S. Ambassador to Egypt and Israel, Daniel C. Kurtzer, on the evolving situation.

For more commentary and more information about Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the security threat to Israel, look for the Feb. 27th issue of the Jewish Voice or click here for continual updates.
