Exam Schedules
 Ballet Exam times were sent home with students this week. Exams will be March 7th - 9th. If you did not receive a letter, please contact the office for dates and times. No changes are possible. Please be sure to read the letter for important information. Schedules will be posted in the Waiting Rooms at both Studios. If you have any concerns or questions, contact the office or your child's teacher. Practise, Practise, Practise! |

We hope everyone is enjoying the dance year, and you're ready for the busy days ahead. All students who took part in the Mock Exams should be proud of a job well done! Next up, we have Ballet Exams, Costumes, Competitions, Pictures and Year End Show ticket sales. Lots going on, so join in the excitement!

Picture Days
 Get your costumes out and makeup on! It's time for pictures. Photos will be taken on April 15th, 16th, and 17th. **All photos will be taken at the Ridge Studio.** Please see schedules to be posted on the bulletin boards in the studios or check on-line after February 16th. We will be having a second photo day, tentatively scheduled for May 7th, for those whose costumes have not yet arrived. Don't worry, everyone will get pictures in their lovely costumes for all family and friends to see. **Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your posted time, with your costumes on and hair and makeup done.** Mark dates and times on your calendar, and we'll see you there with smiles on! Costumes
I'm sure you've seen some of the gorgeous costumes arriving at the studios. They will be sent home with your child once all pieces are received, and each child in that class has a costume. Please label all pieces of your child's costumes, so that if anything goes missing we can return it to the rightful owner if found. Some costumes will not be arriving until May, so these class pictures will be done on May 7th. Costumes are to be worn only for Pictures, Dress Rehearsal, and the Year End Show. They are not to be worn to regular classes. Please put them away safely until they are needed. |
Competitions
 Competitions are about to begin for our students who are participating this year. We will post schedule information as we receive it. Check studio bulletin boards and our website for your times and dates. Remember, we may get the information only 2-3 weeks prior to the event, so just keep checking. Good Luck to all our students!! |
Ticket Sales
 This is important - so mark it on your calendars!! Tickets for the Year End Show will go on sale at both studio locations on Friday April 8th, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Tickets will be $18.50 each for reserved seating at the Bell Performing Arts Centre. Make sure you know which show your child is performing in so that you get tickets for the right day! |
Feature Teacher
**Jen Varney**
 We'd like to welcome Jen Varney to our Panorama School of Dance teaching family. You can find her teaching at our Fleetwood Studio, and parents that haven't yet said "Hello", she'd be more than happy to meet you! Jennifer was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and has been performing and teaching professionally for 15 years. She has had 20 years of extensive training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern, and Hip Hop. Her television and movie credits include the NBC series "Just Deal" and the major motion pictures "Saving Silverman" and "Dudley Do Right". Along with these Jennifer has been seen in commercials for Honeycomb cereal, Sniggle Sticks Toys, and a corporate video for Sony Corporation. Jennifer's stage credits include productions for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, The Canadian Armed forces show Tour in Africa, and Tokyo Disneyland where she performed as a featured dancer in "Once Upon a Mouse". She was also an original cast member and featured performer in the Broadway Revue "Encore" show at Tokyo DisneySea. Jen has trained with the best from Vancouver, New York, Los Angeles, and Japan. |
