It's a Saturday from 10am to 2pm and the park will be beautiful! This is an opportunity to meet and discover other local resources for children with autism spectrum disorders. Thursday, September 29 from 6-8pm guest speaker Maggie Bame will discuss topics such as what to look for in IEP goals, alternatives to your neighborhood school, analyzing & formulating realistic expectations and more! These trainings will take place at Fall River Joint Unified School District in the Conference Room located at 20375 Tamarack Ave. in Burney on October 20, 2011. Family SOUP presents a parent and child workshop for children on the autism spectrum ages 2.5 to 6, using Floortime techniques. Mary Nunez will be the workshop facilitator. Classes start October 3.
