Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery begins a new cycle of lessons on the 12 Steps. Starting Thu, Oct. 18 at 7pm in The Studio (4600 Enders Rd). While CR is an ongoing program that meets weekly, this would be a good time for newcomers to come check it out.

Solaire is a group of moms from Syracuse, Jamesville-DeWitt, East Syracuse, Fayetteville-Manlius, Cazenovia and beyond who gather together for encouragement and community and to share our ups and downs of marriage, motherhood and womanhood. Solaire welcomes moms with children of all ages to join us for good food and conversation on the first and third Wednesdays of every month. Childcare is provided by a background checked, paid staff of childcare workers. Our group meets in the lobby of Eastern Hills Bible Church which is located on Rt. 92 in Manlius . Men www.easternhills.org/go/men Wednesday Morning Bible Study 7am, Admin Conference Room, Bldg 8 The study has been meeting now weekly for more than 25 years. We accept anyone who is interested in bible study (believers and non-believers). A Coordinator acts in general operation. Weekly Reminders are sent on day proceeding the study. We have been studying one chapter at a time having started with Genesis and will soon begin the New Testament. - Breakfast and "Whats Happening (individual)" conversation
- Read the Chapter (chapter is divided so that each individual reads 1 or more verses going around the group)
- Observations and comments relative to the chapter and other chapters
- How does it apply to me and/or today's events
- Prayer requests and/or answers to prayer
- Prayer and closing prayer
- Assignment of next week's leader (by rotation)

YMCA Drug Prevention Forum
Oct 11, 7pm, East Area YMCA
(200 Towne Drive, Fayetteville)
Parents of teens and pre-teens need to know the trends and signs of teen drug use so they can keep their kids safe. To help, the East Area Family YMCA will host a free forum for parents at 7 p.m. Oct. 11. The event, organized by Town of Manlius Justice Bob O'Leary, will allow parents to learn from local experts in teen drug use.
