FEATURED... If you would like more info on the Featured and Upcoming entries below, please click the linked title.
Sundays, 11am. Contact Andy Russo at arusso7@twcny.rr.com to sign up. Adult Sunday School starts Sep 16 Sun, 9:45-10:45, Adult Sunday School Room Do you remember the immediate aftermath of when you became a Christian? How the Bible suddenly became alive and you wanted to read more and more? How you suddenly became more interested in church and being involved in church things? For new Christians, this is often an especially vibrant, exciting time in their spiritual lives. Now imagine that you have just become a Christian and there is no Bible (at least no New Testament). And there is no established church. And all the other Christians in the world are brand new, baby Christians just like yourself. What would you do to grow in your new faith? And what kind of a world is this anyway? It is the Christian world as described in the Book of Acts. Come to Eastern Hills Adult Sunday School Class as we follow the lives of the first Christians through a study of the Acts of the Apostles.

New Use for Old Laptops
Put your old laptops to use in South America with Wycliffe Bible Translators. If you have a functioning laptop, no older than XP operating system, it can be used. Wycliffe will also issue tax deductible receipts for useable laptops. Time to upgrade for yourself and resource Wycliffe missionaries with your old laptop? Contact Kathy Schreiber for details and drop off. Kathy.schreiber@easternhills.org 682-5008 ext 320 Eagle Wings AcademyEagle Wings Academy is beginning its fifth year of operation this September 4th. We are looking for individuals who would be willing to commit to volunteering either one 1/2 day or a whole day each week. This regular commitment would allow for the staff to plan specifically knowing that there will be extra help on a particular day. If you are interested, please call the school office at 396-0024 to request a volunteer application. A background check and references will be required.
There is also a need for help with some special projects (e.g. cutting; sorting; assembling; etc.) - and some of this work can be done at home and returned when completed. If available, call the above number so that we can connect with you.
