"If we're motivating people with an inspiring moment, guilt, shame and fear, or even a paycheck we give them every other week, then we are not motivated by the Gospel. And I for one don't want to be apart of a movement that isn't motivated by the love of Jesus. It's the first commandment. It's the greatest commandment. And it's by this they're supposed to know we're Christians, not our bumper stickers and our WWJD bracelets, but by our love." Hear Neil Cole share his thoughts on being a missional church.

SENEGAL: Pray for our church, the elders and the pastors, that they continue to seek the Holy Dpirit for guidance to know what God is saying and how and where He is asking us to work. Is God calling you to help one of the leaders in some way so that they have more time to be with God? this could be your ministry and way that God wants you to help someone come to know Him in Africa. God works in many ways, so many ways that we have no idea. I like to imagine myself with Jesus, sitting at his feet, sitting in awe when everything is unveiled, i hope you are sitting with me. Eagle Wings Academy Eagle Wings Academy is beginning its fifth year of operation this September 4th. We are looking for individuals who would be willing to commit to volunteering either one 1/2 day or a whole day each week. This regular commitment would allow for the staff to plan specifically knowing that there will be extra help on a particular day. If you are interested, please call the school office at 396-0024 to request a volunteer application. A background check and references will be required. There is also a need for help with some special projects (e.g. cutting; sorting; assembling; etc.) - and some of this work can be done at home and returned when completed. If available, call the above number so that we can connect with you. |
