MISSIONS
Highlights and/or needs of current missions connected with EHBC.
Perspectives Class
Perspectives is a widely known and respected semester long class in a Biblical perspective helping believers understand how they can be woven into God's story of redeeming the world. It takes a look at the history of the church, missionary movements and God's mission today. This is a 15 week course offered locally at St. James Episcopal in Skaneateles beginning Sept. 2012. For more information or registration go to www.perspectives.org
SENEGAL: Pray for our leadership team, Allison Fisher-Cullen, Andy Newhouse, Robin Mauer and Theresa Kidd. We are currently working hard with the mission team in Thies, planning our next trip and working with them to help develop our common ministry goals to benefit the people in Senegal as well as enabling us to live incarnationally in our communities.
Eagle Wings Academy Eagle Wings Academy is beginning its fifth year of operation this September 4th. We are looking for individuals who would be willing to commit to volunteering either one 1/2 day or a whole day each week. This regular commitment would allow for the staff to plan specifically knowing that there will be extra help on a particular day. If you are interested, please call the school office at 396-0024 to request a volunteer application. A background check and references will be required.
There is also a need for help with some special projects (e.g. cutting; sorting; assembling; etc.) - and some of this work can be done at home and returned when completed. If available, call the above number so that we can connect with you.
