New Sermon Series

Join us as we look at the true stories behind the "reel story".  We will be looking at several true popular movies and how the unseen work of God made the true story happen.  We will see how we, in following Christ, get to participate in the stuff "movies are made of".  Join us this weekend for "Behind the Scenes".

Promisland Family Connection

This Sun, July 22, immediately following the 9:30 & 11am services. In August, Promiseland will be doing "God Gives Us Friends" unit by looking at Jesus and His friends. Your children will learn that friends of Jesus learn together, eat together, worship together, and grow in loving Jesus and loving each other! In effort to foster building friendships in Jesus, we are holding a Promiseland Family Connection following the 9:30 & 11am services in Ocean, Jungle and Clubhouse rooms. We are asking you to stay a few extra minutes to connect with other families living in your area as you pick-up your children. We hope to spark some new friendships, growing together in loving Jesus and each other.

UPCOMING...

Blood Drive

Eastern Hills Bible Church (8277 Cazenovia Rd)

Thu, Aug 2, 2-7pm.

Blood Drive Coordinator Postion

The blood ministry is a life saving mission. Every two seconds a unit of blood is needed by a hospital patient in the United States. Each whole blood donation has the potential to help save three lives; the unit of blood is separated into plasma, platelets and red cells, each component needed by patients for different conditions. We rely on voluntary donations of blood and time to hep us in this life saving mission. The role of blood drive coordinator can be shared by more than one person. The coordinator(s) would call or email to make blood donation appointments from a list of donors in the community supplied by the Red Cross, using a schedule of appointment times also supplied by the Red Cross. Volunteers can also help at blood drives with registration and canteen supervision. The reward is the satisfaction of helping a patient in need. Please contact Robert Cotter from the America Red Cross to volunteer, Robert.Cotter@redcross.org

An Afternoon of Sharing and Stories

Sun, July 29, 3-6pm.

Youth and Community Life Center, CrossRoads Community Church, (1751 Fyler Road, Chittenango)  Nick Mangine, from Chittenango, NY, and his wife, Gwenn, have been
raising 12 kids in Haiti for over three years. Through an earthquake, hurricanes, multiple robberies, and the general insanity of daily living in a developing nation, those three years have been quite interesting. Please join us for an afternoon of sharing, stories, pictures and videos. A boutique of Haitian products will be available for sale. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

SENEGAL: Please pray for the people in Ndiandiane for their health. We did a clinic in December, 2011. I think how I can go to the doctor anytime, day or night. they often can only afford healthcare if it is given by someone like us. Even though there is a hospital 2 hours away, it is costly and difficult to get to.  We continue to work on prevention by getting them clean water and nets to protect from mosquitoes.

SENEGAL: Our partnering church in the rural village of Ndiadiane has begun construction on their building. Please continue to pray for the workers, church members and pastor as they are heavily involved in the process.  We pray that through this process they will have opportunities to have spiritual conversations with the community and that the spirit of God will continue to work in and among the people.
