Teen moms have an opportunity to attend camp this summer at YoungLife's Lake Champion but they need your help to raise the funds to go! As a church, we would like to celebrate and honor our graduates as they enter their next stage of life. On June 24, a slideshow of local high school and home-school graduates who attend Eastern Hills will be shown. We are requesting two pictures in .jpg format (baby and current) for use in the slideshow. Upcoming... 2nd Annual School's Out Blowout! June 22  Special Needs Respite Event Meachem Elementary School Jun 30, 5pm-8pm. The Special Needs Ministry is sponsoring a Respite event for families with special needs in the valley area of Syracuse. We will be providing a fun evening of games and entertainment for the kids and their siblings. At the same time, we will be providing a dinner and speakers for the parents. Summer Service Schedule Changes
There will be No Saturday evening services for the month of June. We invite you to join us at one of our Sunday morning services on those weekends. All weekend services are available online at easternhills.org/go/sermons Starting Monday, July 9th at 6pm we kick off our Monday evening services, they will continue through-out July & August. Sunday Morning Services will remain the same; 8:15, 9:30 & 11am.

Thank You Dedie!
For the past 10 years Dedie Williams has been an integral part of our Eastern Hills staff. After many years of service, Dedie has decided to retire. As a leader of our Caring Ministry, Dedie provided support for many of us in our times of need. We have been blessed and are thankful to have had Dedie as a part of our staff. We are excited for this new season in Dedie's life! When you see her, make sure you take some time to say thank you for all she has done for our Eastern Hills family.

MISSIONS
Highlights and/or needs of current missions connected with EHBC.
Rick Chiesa, Wycliffe Bible Translators, is traveling to East Africa this week. He will be connecting with the national partners. Pray that he effectively communicate the difficult issues at hand with the severe shortfall of project funding this year. It personally grieves him to see the impact of these cuts. He will also be meeting with several leaders and attending the dedication of the Sabaot Bible translation.
Follow Olivia Eiler's month in Guatemala with Hope Renewed
Olivia, Dave and Bettina Eiler's daughter, is a student at Cornell, from Cazenovia and first traveled to Guatemala with our Student Community here at Eastern Hills. (she's one of us) She is a young woman following and participating in God's mission. Read more of her story, her daily journey and pray with her throughout the month of June as she interns with Hope Renewed in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Engaging the Muslim Community? A workshop for those loving and serving Muslims in their community. Learn the basics of Islam, the challenges and misconceptions of Islam and how to engage these neighbors in our community and around the world.
FCA Ice Cream Sundaes!
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be selling Ice Cream Sundaes after the church services on Sun, June 10 for $3 in an effort to raise money for students to attend FCA Summer camp. Hang around with family and friends and have a sundae on our patio! Please consider participating and helping us send a student to summer camp!
SENEGAL: The Senegal Team is planning their next trip for Nov.3rd-11th, 2012 and it's all about women! That's right, once again an all womens team will travel to the remote village of N'diandiane, Senegal in West Africa. In partnership with our national team, we will engage with, minister to, and generally love on the women of this village.
