Create,Capitvate,Change! Together we shoot for a cause Thur, May 10, 7pm, 441 South Salina Street, Syracuse At Sophistications in The Galleries downtown (Armory Square) Student photography exhibition to benefit local charities. Digital and print submissions accepted. Email staskoOCC@gmail.com for questions or with digital entries. Print entries can be submitted at the photography department office on the OCC campus. All entries must be titled and include the name and school of the photographer. Entries are considered a donation and will be available for sale via silent auction at the show's opening. All proceeds will go directly towards the local charities, new directions and Hopeprint, which work with inner city youth and the refugee population of Syracuse. Anyone can enter even high school students and any students outside of OCC. Deadline for entries, Saturday, May 5th, 8pm.
Open Your Heart for Art and CazCares
Sat, May 12, 6-9pm, Cazenovia Presbyterian Meeting Hall (behind the church).
Come and celebrate the 30th anniversary of CazCares! Local artists will be displaying their work for sale and donating 30% of the proceeds to this worthy cause. Painting sculptures, photographs, woodworking and unique crafts will be for sale. Refreshments and music will be provided. |
