Starting Point will be held on Sunday mornings during the 11am service. A new session of Starting Point begins on Sunday Sun, Jan 22, Admin Conference Room, Bldg 8.
* Sign up in the Lobby this Weekend!! What is Starting Point? Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community. Starting Point groups are a safe place for people with questions about faith, as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity. Groups meet for about 10 weeks and together explore the grand story of the Bible. One of the goals of Starting Point is to help participants find their places in the story. Who is it for? Starting Point is for those who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible, or Christianity. Starting Point is for those who have just begun a relationship with Jesus Christ. Starting Point is for those who have some church experience, but have been away for a while.

Haiti Trip
Thursday, Feb. 2, 6:30pm, Common Grounds, Caz. The St. James/Eastern Hills recent trip to Haiti had a great impact on the team and village of Thibeau, Haiti. Come hear stories and see photos of all that took place over Christmas break.
Funraiser for Haiti
Enjoy an fun afternoon of Irish Music and Step Dancing on Sun, Feb 12 at 2 p.m. at the Catherine Cummings Theatre at Cazenovia College. Fiddler Joe Davoli and guitarist/vocalist Bill Delaney will join dancers from the McDonald-Ashford Academy of Irish Dance. General admission tickets are $15; and $10 for children 10 and under. Tickets are available at Cazenovia Jewelry, Matthew's Salon in Cazenovia, and at the door. The event is sponsored by the Haiti Committee of St. James Church in Cazenovia in support of their continuing efforts to provide clean water and education for the residents of Thibeau, Haiti
Ghana Trip
Continue to pray for the Ghana team as they work in several remote villages this week! They will return on Sat, Jan 21. Follow their blog to keep up with their mission! Mon, Jan 30, 6:30pm the Ghana team will share stories and photos from their recent visit. The meeting will be held at Sybil Regan's home, 2926 Moraine Road, Cazenovia.
