Young Life Prison
Young Life in Syracuse has been invited by the County Holding Center to begin a Young Life outreach to adolescent inmates in Onondaga County. 600-700 adolescent inmates are held throughout the year, primarily at the Justice Center downtown. The goal of Young Life Prison is to connect adolescent inmates with a caring adult who will build a relationship with them while "in" the Justice Center and continue that relationship either on the "outside" or during their sentence. An interest meeting is being held on July 13th from 7-8:30pm at 129 Lilac St. in the city of Syracuse. RSVP to Dustin Bailey dbailey2@gmail.com or Nathan Gunn gunner721@gmail.com so we can meet privately. Our goal is to start meeting with kids in small groups at the Justice Center in November. This opportunity exists for men & women who are interested in reaching kids.
Motorcyle Riders Community
Fellowship with other motorcyclists for spiritual development in a social setting; Promote safe, courteous, & responsible riding; Provide an opportunity for group rides June thru August. You don't need to attend Eastern Hills. The rides will leave EHBC and will include; one (alternating) weekday ride from 6:30-9pm and every other Saturday from 10am- 4pm.
