Mike & Dorene Rufo - Pioneers Update
The first 3 months of our Pioneers adventure have been exciting! We have been asked often for updates so we set up a web site to help communicate the latest information. Out of concern for the security of the field teams, we are not specific about the travel locations in the public blog. However, we would be happy to talk with you about it. We would also ask for your specific prayers for the travel, so just send us an email and we will be honored to include you in a travel prayer request email. Check out www.mikeanddoradventure.com Thanks for your friendship! Blessings, Mike and Dorene Rufo
Pakistan Relief 2009 Update It was two years ago that some of our Christian brothers and sisters in Gojra, Pakistan were brutally attacked by muslim extremists. Kamran James, who attends Eastern Hills and is from Pakistan, shared this story with our congregation back in 2009 and you responded in a huge way raising $11,282 for crisis relief and rebuilding lives! After facing some struggles in getting the aid to the people safely, they have finally received it and are on the road to recovery. Thank you to each of you who participated in these efforts! Check out this video made by Kamran James with photos of what you made possible: www.easternhills.org/go/pakistan |
