PACCAR...
This Saturday is a great time to visit PACCAR's Technical Center at 12479 Farm to Market Road in Mt Vernon. This is a R&D facility, electronics lab, model shop and machine shop on 242-acres that provides testing and development for all PACCAR divisions.
PACCAR's technical centers, in the Netherlands and this one in Washington State, accelerate product-development cycles by employing highly sophisticated engineering analysis, simulation and rapid prototyping.
Birch is excited to have our newest semi-truck on display at PACCAR's Open House.

Newest Addition to Birch's Delivery Fleet on display at PACCAR April 16th - 11am-3pm |
The truck is spec'd to heavyhaul standards, including - a double-frame rail; larger, heavier differentials; and axle-lock capabilities to minimize jobsite distress in tire spin situations.
We strategically placed all clean-up maintenance and spill equipment for the most efficient and convenient response to any emergency.
This facility is usually kept pretty top secret and is opened to the community once a year...be sure to stop by! |

We Want To See You In Print!
You don't have to look pretty but make sure the equipment does when you send pictures to Birch for the 2012 calendar. We give out a couple thousand of the custom calendars featuring our favorite customers, staff and families using our gear from Anchorage to Snohomish and even Hawaii!
Be a part of Birch history by sending your photos to info@birchequipment.com from now through October. Calendars are distributed in November. There are a few 2011 calendars left. Stop by any Birch store to get one of your own before they run out!

Cory Clarke -
Mt Vernon Asst Mgr |
Congratulations to Cory Clarke, recently promoted to the Assistant Manager position at Birch's Mount Vernon store! Cory came to Birch in 2008 with a
background of over 5 years in the Landscaping, Nursery and Tree Farm industries. He started as a yard rep and moved to an inside sales position shortly thereafter.
What does Cory enjoy most about working at Birch?
..working with Birch's Landscaping & Nursery customer base; operating mini-excavators, boom lifts and reach forklifts; fast-paced demands of the rental industry; and taking long walks on the beach...just kidding on that one.
