Hi there
Hot, hot, hot! With temps the highest in record, we wondered if anyone would have the energy to read a newsletter. But we do have news. So.... come along to Angéline's and get cool, cool, cool! |
Canada Food Day, Saturday
Angéline's is one of 7 restaurants in the County chosen to take part in Food Day Canada on July 31. The brainchild of Anita Stewart, it celebrates Canadian food culture, with a particular focus on restaurants who proudly cook Canadian. Check out Sébastien's fabulous menu for that day. Difficult to resist that!
Accolade!
We are thrilled that the restaurant guide "Where to Eat in Canada" has honoured us with one star in their latest 2010 edition. Thanks to Sébastien and all who made that possible. |

Creative Minds and Creative Cuisine
We were pleased to host the recent 'Creative Minds Unplugged' event organized by the Economic Development Department in the County. Its purpose is to highlight and network with new businesses, entrepreneurs and artists. Video of welcome with Alexandre and Melanie here.
Creativity extended to the unique 'conversation starters' prepared by Sébastien Schwab and desserts by Andreas Hinnerth. Everyone loved them!
Edible violets on pulled pork with Calvados apples.
Delish.
Veggie sushi with sauce in pipettes. Fun to eat.
Mini lemon cones with blueberries. Mmmm.

The Master Suite and Bijou Room
Reactions from our guests to our new additions on the 2nd floor have been so heartening and positive. A big thank you to everyone who took the time to comment either on our client feedback cards - which we find so very helpful - or on our Facebook page.
Since then we have added some antiques and artwork to enhance the Master Suite even more.
We love that some of our guests are booking it for their wedding night too!
For your special occasions, we know your stay with us will be a memorable experience of elegance and charm.
Our accommodation now consists of 10 rooms and one suite. Details are here. Reservations, as always, are recommended well in advance. |
