We got rid of the tired old covered patio and opened it up so you could see the lovely architectural details of the house.

A special menu for you, mom!
A very special menu has been prepared by our chef Sebastien Schwab for the mothers and others in our lives.
How about pan-seared sea scallops with calendula, barley risotto tinged with blueberry syrup?
Or guinea fowl fricassee with County cider, sweet patato purée, and fresh vegetable medley?

Wild nettles a County speciality
Sebastien loves to take advantage of what Mother Nature has to offer here in the County. And thanks to Vicki's Veggies, he has been able to use one of our favourites, wild stinging nettles - yes it's true - to make the most delicious soup ever. And what's more it's healthy!
 We went to see Vicki while she was harvesting these prickly little leaves; the video of our interview is here.
