NOTICE - The Law Has Changed !
On June 16, 2011 OSHA will begin to enforce a stricter version of its fall protection standards for residential construction. The guidelines impact work environments in which workers are exposed to a potential fall of more than six feet. This is of particular interest to those in the roofing industry as the use of "slide guards" (typically a 2 x 4 nailed to a roof surface) will no longer fulfill safety requirements.

Contractor Comedy
A construction worker goes into a bar and seats himself on a stool. The bartender looks at him and says, "What'll it be buddy?"
The construction worker says, "Set me up with seven whiskey shots and make them doubles." The bartender does this and watches the man slug one down, then the next, then the next, and so on until all seven are gone almost as quickly as they were served. Staring in disbelief, the bartender says, "Wow, why are you drinking those so fast?"
"You'd drink them this fast too if you had what I have." replied the construction worker.
The bartender hastily asks, "Oh my God, what DO you have pal?"
The construction worker quickly replies, "I have ONE dollar."
