Contractor Comedy
The Golfer
A contractor was given a set of golf clubs for his birthday, by his employees. Thinking he would finally try the game, he asked the local pro for lessons, explaining that he knew nothing whatever of the sport.
The pro showed him the stance, the grip, and the swing, then said, "Just hit the ball toward the flag on the first green."
The contractor teed up the ball and smacked it straight down the fairway and onto the green where it stopped inches from the hole.
"Now what?" the contractor asked the speechless pro.
After he was able to speak again the pro finally said,
"Uh, you're supposed to hit the ball in the cup."
The contractor responded,
"Oh, great! Now you give me
the Change Order!" |
