NTC UMW Spiritual Growth Retreat
Formed In the Spirit: Transformed Through Acts of Justice & Mercy
During this 1-night retreat you will experience a variety of forms of prayer, dig deeply into Bible study, and explore multiple opportunities through which to respond in acts of mercy to social justice issues. This event will be very interactive and open to all UMW. Get your Circle friends to join you and enjoy the fellowship with women from across N. Texas!

Legislative Event for Texas UMW
Texas United Methodist Women's Legislative Event (LE) brings together UMW from across the state to learn about state policy and how our government works. The LE focuses on issues that are of concern to all of us and inspires us to be advocates. LE features speakers from state government, Texas churches, seminaries, and non-profit organizations. The highlight of the LE is a trip to the Capitol to visit your State Senator and Representative. North Texas Conference Social Action Coordinator, Lori Safford, is in charge of this event and this year is expected to be the best ever! Early Registration ends January 2nd!

North Texas ConferenceAnti-Racism Training
A professional training firm, CrossRoads Anti Racism Org, will lead this event. We intend to start a grass roots movement to dismantle the systems of oppression that remain in our communities. Are you called to join this effort? NTC UMW approved places for 20 UMW to attend. Greenville City Council will be joining us at this training indicating that there is a recognized need and it will help establish community contacts and partnerships.
