Looking for faith-based information about the immigration issue?
Greetings!

Texas Impact, our faith-based Austin watchdog, will be at Lovers Lane UMC this Saturday to give us the scoop on upcoming legislation pending in Austin. Bill Mefford, our UMC watchdog in Washington, DC is also coming - just to bring us the straight talk from DC.  The Rapid Response Team of the North Texas Conference is sponsoring the event on July 17, 2010 at Lovers Lane UMC.

Isaiah 58: Immigration and the Call to Faithful Mission is an opportunity to meet and learn from national and state level leaders who advocate for legislation based on the Social Principals of the United Methodist Church.
