Bringing hope and opportunities to the children of Eleuthera and Harbour Island
EEO completes our 13th year of successful
 literacy and special education programs

There are  specific moments when you can start to see the change beginning to happen. The way a child thinks about him/herself and the value of learning shifts....hope begins to shine through.

The struggle may be for a variety of reasons...a language processing disorder, an auditory or speech challenge or another form of a learning disability. Without any chance for differentiated instruction, the child slips into a cycle of learned helplessness.

The individualized help that EEO provides stops that cycle and small steps of success build confidence . That motivation leads to increased effort , desire and ultimately success which makes a widespread difference in the community of that child. Every child counts.

EEO celebrates our 13th year of successful programs on Eleuthera and Harbour Island!
We have mainstreamed hundreds of children that are now reaching their personal potential. Sometimes it was a crucial hearing problem that needed to be identified and solved , sometimes it was the attention and alternative strategy  to learning that needed to be applied.

The end result is children that believe in themselves and are willing to try to reach  thier potential. The result is future members of the community that are not resentful and frustrated.... but hopeful.

Please help keep our programs going strong with your crucially needed support.
