The crowd was big, the energy level was high and the champagne was chilled! This is how we "got the party started" at the Towers here in Laguna Woods.

Our New Year's Eve party entertainment for the evening was a Tricia and Tracey, aka TNT, and yes they were dyn-o-mite! This married song and dance duo crooned tunes from Sinatra to the Beatles and kept the crowd dancing everything from the can-can to the twist.

Along with their musicality, this lively duo had a funny bone too! Stepping out into the audience on several occasions, their jokes, gags and flirtatious nature kept everyone captivated and very amused.

The Lortscher Hall stage was inviting, still twinkling with lights and decorations, and many residents danced the night away under the mirrored ball.

If you weren't on stage showing off your moves, maybe you were at the dessert table sampling one of the lovely delights supplied by our Guckenheimer staff. Although it was hard to chose from the creamy, sweet and oh so delectable treats, I think my favorite may have been a small cranberry square topped with glazed walnuts, so good!

If you worked up a thirst after all that dancing, the bar serving was champagne, martinis and soft drinks was just a few steps away.

Midnight (on the east coast) came and the Times Square ball dropped on the big screen television, the count down was on and we rang in the New Year!

With all this to look forward to I have to ask....

How many days till next New Year's Eve????? I can't wait!
