Can't Afford To Break Up

As if job loss, lower house values and a sluggish economy aren't bad enough alone, these issues are making it difficult if not impossible for couples to divorce. There just isn't enough money to support one household, let alone two. And with little or no equity in many homes, the party leaving the house walks away with nothing to help assist him or her with a new residence. And then there are the attorney's fees... As one judge remarked, "love won't keep them together, but money will."

Yet the result of these financial hardships are adding to the peril suffered by faltering and failed marriages. This in turn translates into a worsening home environment which at best causes added tension and stress for the adults and children living together, and at worst, the terrible domestic violence that has been reported much more frequently in the news lately. I'm no advocate of divorce, but I am aware of the toll a broken relationship can take on the parties and their children without professional help. Sometimes a little separation can bring some much needed calm and order to a family and allow issues to be discussed in a safe environment and away from children. If you or someone you know needs to do something, consider this:

WE ARE IN THE NEW OFFICE!

Moving was tough but it forced us to clean-up and clean-out. Good to do once in a while. There are still things that need to be done, but we are pretty settled in and conducting business. We don't have our kitchen sink but at least we have the doors in the conference room and a sign outside! J

We'd like to thank all the people who helped with the move of our office:

·  Jeffrey Smith at the Sign Depot in Newtown created and installed our beautiful sign.

· Sean Devine at Armstrong Moving and Storage of Newtown had the unenviable task of fitting all of the furniture into our new little home (and his guys were neat and showed up with a can-do attitude).

·Bruce Brereton of Red Baron Carpet in Newtown gave me immediate attention and had our carpet ordered and installed in record time and

·Matt Spak of Minuteman Press in Monroe quickly filled orders for new letterhead, business cards and brochures.

All were a pleasure to work with and performed the work on time and for the price quoted or less.

Thank You!!

"Ron, Just a little note to say a very big "thank you" for everything you have done for us. We have just made our last "mortgage" payment. We never would have done it without you. There are not enough words to say how grateful we are. Without you, we would have lost our house. You came through for us at the beginning when we were only hours away from the actual foreclosure. Thank you for believing in us and helping us with everything."
