KansasWatchdog.Org and KansasReporter.Org Now Fully Independent
KPI: Proud of Previous Support and Welcomes New Independence
March 2, 2012 - Wichita - Today, Kansas Policy Institute announces that KansasReporter.org and KansasWatchdog.org will now operate completely independent of  Kansas Policy Institute.  Both outlets will now be solely operated by the Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity.

"We are proud to have been a founding sponsor of both KansasWatchdog and KansasReporter in 2009.  Their success and growth over the past several years have made it possible to achieve our mutual, long-term goal of having them function as completely independent operations.  Their ability to function on their own allows KPI to devote more attention to our core mission.  We look forward to their continued contribution to Kansas news media with regular coverage of state government and investigative reports," said KPI president Dave Trabert.
