A Scandal And A Tuition Hike

TOPEKA, Kan. - Tuition rate increases and ticketing scandals highlighted a meeting of the Kansas Board of Regents Thursday.

Tuition rates and required student fees will climb this fall for all six Regents schools in the state after approval by the nine member board. Following a spirited discussion of the impact the tuition rate hikes would have on Kansans, all increases initially proposed last month were approved.
