Greetings From Politics and Prose! Suzanne Collins
|
Mockingjay: The Hunger Games, Book 3 |
We have received a special update regarding Suzanne Collins's booksigning event from her publicist! We can now accept PRESOLD BOOKS left at the store to be "signed" (stamped) by Suzanne Collins. Because Ms. Collins suffers from hand strain, she will be “signing” books with a special stamp custom made for Mockingjay events. Please call 202-364-1919 to order a book or click here to order your book through our online system. To ease the strain on her hand, she will not be providing personalizations and one book per person, please! Also, Suzanne Collins will be reading. Her publicist said that she would do a 5 minute reading from Mockingjay. We will schedule a break in the signing between 4 and 4:30 p.m. so that most participants will have time to get to the store after school in order to hear her read. Mockingjay: The Hunger Games, Book 3, by Suzanne Collins Mockingjay is finally here! Katniss' fate, and the fate of Panem, are revealed in this action-packed third and final installment of the HUNGER GAMES trilogy. Who are members of the Underground? What happened to District 12? Where have the Underground taken Katniss Everdeen? When will District 13 emerge and is it Washington, D.C.? (Ages 12 and up)
This is a ticketed event. Purchase a copy of one of the books in the HUNGER GAMES trilogy from P&P, and you'll get a signing line ticket, which entitles you to meet Suzanne Collins in person and have her to stamp ONE of your books. We are excited to host Suzanne Collins and look forward to having you join us. THE PUBLISHER STIPULATES THAT: Because Suzanne Collins suffers from hand strain, she will be “signing” books with a special stamp custom made for Mockingjay events.
FOR THIS EVENT, PLEASE ALSO NOTE:
Thank you for supporting P&P and for your interest in this event. Everyone on our staff and many of our teenage friends have been very excited about this series. We hope you will join us on Thursday when we welcome Suzanne Collins to our neighborhood!
