Quilt Cards Are Available!
Support Housing Resources Board while spreading holiday good wishes. HRB is selling notecards with nine different whimsical images of homes taken from a quilt made by fabric artist Kerry Smith. Available for $12 at Dana's Showhouse, Esther's Fabric, Bay Hay and Feed, and at the HRB office; all proceeds will go to Housing Resources Board and our mission to support diverse workforce housing. The Quilt Cards make wonderful greeting cards for the holidays, stocking stuffers and gifts.
 Artist Kerry Smith put over 150 hours into the quilt that is valued at $1,500. Titled "Our Island Neighborhood", the quilt has been on display throughout the community, generating conversations on the impact of diverse housing on Bainbridge Island. Raffle tickets for the quilt are also available for purchase for $5 each or $20 for five tickets. Call HRB at 842-1909 to purchase raffle tickets. The quilt is scheduled to be raffled in July 2011.
