How do you get a different result? Why you
change something, of course! Now, the real question is:
Are you
motivated to change? If you ask a smoker to change his 20-year-long
habit and not smoke anymore for the rest of his life, he would probably tell you
that it would be almost impossible - unless something drastic happened in his
own life. It won't be because of those ads you see on TV. Maybe it will be because one of his friends passed away from lung cancer. It
might be because he doesn't want to see his own children follow in his
footsteps.
Until something DRASTIC happens in their lives, something that causes
PAIN, change is UNLIKELY to take place.
So, what can we
do about it? How can we motivate ourselves for big changes in our finances,
health, our business or even relationships?
It's no great secret ... It requires
predetermined goals and dedicated effort.
This means that you must
completely abandon your old habits and start by looking into what do you
really want.
This is why you need someone to support you physically and
mentally to get what you truly want. If you don't have that, change
will be very difficult. Ask yourself the following:
- Who are the people in your life invested in your success and who want to see
you grow?
- Who are the people in your life who are willing to do whatever it takes to
help you achieve your goals?
