Creating opportunities for all to thrive

         e-Touch                                                                      May 2012

62% of the families served by IOCP are underemployed or unemployed.

Beyond that disturbing statistic are all of the families and individuals who haven't landed at our doors but for whom unemployment and under- employment in a changed and more competitive job market have made job searching and job retooling more complex and challenging.

A strategic focus for IOCP and our community partners is to leverage the resources of our community to more effectively  address this community reality.

"Who's Hiring & Who's Training" is a second in a quarterly series for job seekers and folks wanting to explore and make a changing job market work for them.

The morning will provide a chance to hear from local employers about where the opportunities and  resources are for becoming more effectively engaged in job seeking or job upgrade, a Q & A time, and a job fair. Details below.

Tell your friends. Help us spread the word. It's a good thing!
