Space is still available for the 6th Annual Caring for Kids Breakfast Thursday, May 3, 7:15 - 8:30 a.m., Wayzata County Club. Come!
Bring friends and co-workers to learn more about the progress and challenges of moving public policy and public/private investment in early childhood front and center of our community agenda from one of its foremost champions, Art Rolnick.
Former chair of the Federal Reserve Bank and
senior fellow at the University of Minnesota
Humphrey Institute, Rolnick has exciting news
to share about progress at federal and state
levels, and the importance of citizen advocacy
for keeping the momentum on this key issue.
Rolnick shares the exciting outcomes for kids
served by CfKI as an outstanding model of collective community impact with legislators and corporate leaders as he advocates for more public /private investment in the future of our kids. He needs our voices and passion to join his. Come to learn why. Come to learn how.
Breakfast is free, but registration is required.
Come. Help us move CfKI from great to greater.

Sponsor a Camper
Each year, IOCP offers Camp CONECT, an 8-week summer experience for about 200 children in the Plymouth area. Youth who participate enjoy the themed activities, field trips, and reading time. This year's theme is "Camp CONECT Explores the World and Beyond" and will focus on geography, chemistry, biology, and astronomy. We also hope to offer a Kinder Camp for preschoolers ages 3-5 this year. Help by sponsoring a camper!
$424 sponsors one child for the entire 8-week camp experience

In My Words
From Sonja Carr, a volunteer at ReSale 101:
"My family of 6 lost everything in a house fire 10 years ago. When we had nothing, IOCP gave us something. Now I'm grateful I can give back. IOCP is an incredible place to volunteer." |
