Camp CONECT changes the pace of multi-unit neighborhoods, filling their streets with sights and sounds and out-of-the-park energy of kids. . .150 of them this summer. Beautiful kids who are growing and changing before our very eyes.

Kids whose futures are being shaped by a whole village of wonderful people who make a healthy, fun, stretching summer possible.

Sixteen young adult counselors marshaled that kid energy into a camp focused on keeping fit. Exercise, eat right, get the body moving, keep those juices jangling, those minds mulling, was the order of the day.

An unexpected delight for campers this summer was a picnic sponsored by Target employees of Merchandise Planning Operations. Fun, food, games, prizes, and connection with 90 wonderful Target volunteers. Doesn't get much better than that. Thank you, Target!

No question Camp CONECT connects with kids. But beyond the kids are the moms and dads who know their kids are safe, doing and learning good things, with great people and most of all having fun. No small thing.

Hope you all feel as proud as they are grateful for a community that grows hope and joy in the hearts of their kids in summer.

Target provides camp, clean-up volunteers
Water carry groupFrom face painting to a face lift, Target volunteers came out in force for IOCP in July. 90 employees from Merchandise Planning Operations led 150 Camp CONECT youth in activities, followed by a picnic and prizes Target supplied. An equally energetic group of 65 employees from the Women's Apparel Merchandising Division wielded Windex and paint brushes to freshen up IOCP's offices inside and out, as well as collected 5,000 cans of soup for our food shelf. Thanks to these stellar volunteers who exemplify "giving back"! IOCP clean-up photo gallery
