Turn out the lights & have some fun
Last year hundreds of millions of people around the world participated in the third annual Earth Hour. Over 4000 cities in 88 countries officially switched off their lights to pledge their support for the planet.
On March 27, 2010 at 8:30pm you too can be a part of the world's largest global climate change initiative. With the simple flick of a switch you can show leadership that we want regulations established to achieve meaningful emission reduction to help fight climate change and be responsible for our our future.
Everyone can participate in Earth Hour! You can participate by yourself, with family, friends and just a few candles or flashlights, or visit the Earth Hour website to find out what festivities your community has planned.
Now, when we yell "Lights Out!", its to more than our kids.
