Red Spotted Purple Creatures
We're proud to be the 1st Canadian retailer of redspottedpurple, odd but sweetly unique "stuffy" creatures that resemble the first drawings of my pre-schooler. I must admit I was a bit sceptical when I first saw the marketing literature, but I was won over by the creatures themselves, the ethical company philosophy and by my kids' reactions. With their misshapen bodies, odd colors, irregular legs and arms, and strange little snouts ...more

Litterless Lunch
The average school-aged kid with a disposable lunch produces over 66lbs of waste per year. It's pretty easy to reduce these numbers by changing a few simple habits at lunch time.
-
Use reusable drinking containers, food storage options, cutlery and napkins.
-
Avoid plastic bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and pre-packaged foods when you can.
-
If possible, take leftover food remnants home for composting.
-
Buy in bulk, instead of single-serving portions that send excess packaging to the landfills.
Every Little Bit carries a wide selection of litterless lunch products.
Adult & Kids Lunch Bags
Classy to cute, stretchy to structured, one of these reusable lunch bags is sure to please.

Critters Abound No-one wants to think about lice (and you probably want to itch your head as you read this), but the reality is that 25% of all school-aged kids get lice at some point. Lice love clean shiny hair (that MUST be why my 2 year old gets put to bed with toast crumbs galore), so its got nothing to do with hygiene, and more to do with close contact with other kids.
Commercial lice treatments contain the chemical lindane, which is a known neurotoxin that causes seizures, damages the nervous system, and weakens the immune system. Exposure may also cause cancer and disrupt the hormone system of humans and other animals (Sierra Club of Canada). Lindane has been banned in over 50 countries yet still remains prevalent in commercial lice treatments.
Why not try Lice Insurance - an all natural prevention and treatment regimen? It's safe and effective for kids and adults. | |
