You know you're from Kensington, Maryland when . . .

- You can explain the difference between "Connecticut Avenue" and "Connecticut Avenue (extended)". - You know these acronyms: AEHS, NJHS, RCP, and HRS.
- You know what a "Titan" is.
- You know who Walter Johnson was.
- You grudgingly concede that yes, you can accept some WJHS alumni as Kensingtonians.
- You know that Continental makes the best steak & cheese on the planet.
- You know the names of at least 3 WWII admirals.
- You know it's "Den-FELD", not "Den-FIELD".
- You celebrate The Festival of the Traffic Lights.
- You know where to find "the pharmacy".
- You remember the Co-op.
- You know where the bike path ends.
- Your first ice cream cone was from Baskin Robbins.
- You learned to love the Double-R-Bar burger at a young age.
- You walked to 7-11 for fun, because there was nothing else better to do.

This was taken from the "You Know You're from Kensington, Maryland when . . ." page on Facebook. What else could be added?
