Einstein Athletic Hall of Fame and Coach Porac  brought in famed basketball trainer Brad Pinchback to work out the Varsity Basketball team.

"I have been developing basketball talent for over 20 years, dating back to when I was still a player in college. Two of my first three clients went on to play in college", said Brad.

Over the years, he has helped players take the journey from middle school player to college and or professional player. He decided about 2 years ago, after leaving corporate America, to develop basketball players as a business. A strong fundamental base is what he hopes to instill in players, as well as raising a players basketball IQ. By developing a firm grasp of the basics, he hopes to maximize a players potential and make him or her a more efficient basketball player.

He has found this focus to be beneficial to both the developing young player as well as the aspiring or current professional. The sevices that are available through Brad Pinchback Basketball Player Development are individual training, small group training, team training and practices, large clinics, and guest speaking.

Purcellville Street Renamed In Honor of Former Mayor and Hall of Fame Member
Bill Druhan Mayor
William T. Druhan Jr.

The name of the late Bill Druhan will be commemorated forever following a ceremony held Saturday November 26th at the junction of A Street and Maple Avenue in Purcellville, VA.

A crowd of family, friends, neighbors and Town Council members past and present gathered for the formal renaming of the eastern section of A Street to W.T. Druhan Jr. Boulevard.

The Purcellville Town Council approved a resolution in the fall naming the final link in the Southern Collector Road in Druhan's memory. The two-term mayor, who died in June from pancreatic cancer, served the town from 2002-2006.

After a short tribute to Druhan, Mayor Bob Lazaro presented Druhan's widow Tammy with the sign bearing her husband's name. Two more W.T. Druhan Jr. Blvd. signs were placed at the road's junctions with Yaxley Road and Maple Avenue.

In accepting the sign, Tammy Druhan, flanked by her children, Joey and Maggie, said she and her family appreciated the honor shown to her husband for the little he had been able to do for the community. That was amended by Lazaro who said what Druhan had down for the town was not "little," crediting him as the architect and originator of many of the town's recent major planning initiatives. "Bill did do a lot. He set the framework for things that are happening now," Lazaro said later.
