On Monday, May 9th, the Hall of Fame presented $2,500 scholarships to the outstanding AEHS male and female student-athletes for 2011 at a brief ceremony following the 4th annual HOF Golf Tournament at Laytonsville Golf Club.

The Kit Pardee Scholarship is awarded annually by the HOF to the outstanding female student-athlete.  This year, the award went to Jordan Solomon, a 4-year soccer star at AEHS who plans to attend the University of Colorado next year.  Jordan was team captain and MVP in soccer in 2011, as well as the receiving all-state honorable mention and 2nd-team all-county honors in 2010.  Jordan also was 2-year varsity lacrosse and varsity softball player, and was part of the Honors Jazz Ensemble for 2 years.  Jordan maintained a 3.5 GPA and will be studying liberal arts at Colorado.
