Spring Athletic Field Spruce-Up April 18, 2009
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Montgomery County School system has designated Albert Einstein High School (AEHS) as the site for the 2009 3A Track and Field Region Meet. Eleven high school track teams will participate in the meet scheduled for May 13-14.
We want our students, visiting track teams, parents, friends and visitors to see an athletic complex at AEHS that's one of the best maintained in the county. School officials already have begun refurbishing the track surface, repairing gates and brick retaining walls, clearing out debris and other projects. But there's much more to be done, so the AEHS Athletic Hall of Fame and Booster Club are working together to assist school officials and help beautify the athletic complex.
We've got a list of jobs to help spruce up school grounds. With your help, we can get it all done.
We are looking for volunteers willing to invest a little "sweat equity" on Saturday, April 18, with a back-up rain date of Sat., April 25, to work on these projects, with a start time of 9 a.m. Games will be played at the sports complex on both Saturdays, so we will work around those events while they are ongoing.
