KIT PARDEE WITH LAST YEARS SCHOLARSHIP WINNER REBECCA LEE
THE FOLLOWING CLASSMATES HAVE CHALLENGED THEIR CLASSES: Monica Mintz and Malcolm Wilson Class of
'73
Time for the Class of 1973 to step up and show what
we've got. The second annual "Class Challenge" is underway.
One of the key functions of your Hall of Fame is to
provide scholarships to a deserving male and female athlete each year. The Kit
Pardee Scholarship goes to the female athlete that most embodies the qualities
that Kit displayed both during her time at Einstein and in her life today. Malcolm said, "As a
parent with a child still at Einstein, I have had the honor of personally
knowing the past 7 recipients of this prized award and seeing the impact it has
had on them in allowing them the opportunity to move on to college."
So we are asking for your tax deductible $25.00
donation to help fund the Kit Pardee Scholarship Fund and help yet another Titan
who might not otherwise have the opportunity that this scholarship can
provide. 2008 Scholarship Award Winners Rebecca Lee &
Rickey Yarborough

1979 OLD DAZE
Can it be thirty years gone past?
We were young and having a blast.
Einstein High, was the center of our life,
No kids, no job, no husband, no wife.
Can you see Danny Wetzel flash the curve sign?
Or hear Peggy Robinson smash a double down the line?
Danny Frasier blows a bubble as he shoots for two,
Val Navy sends a spike through a Wheaton crew.
Niko Pattakos pins the visitor to the mat,
Coach Boyle adjusts his red Titan hat.
At halftime Sue Grasson kicks up her heels,
LeAnn Price takes off on a steal.
Mullikin and Rayfield close the gaps,
Harris dunks after Garabedian traps.
John Ebbs cruises to victory in the dash,
Across Coach Brown's face a smile does flash.
Diana Holmes digs the volleyball up from the floor,
Coach Bouve knows a title is in store.
Gary Hopkins is out in front and surely winning.
Pashi Diamantides keeps track of every inning.
Miss Rackey and Al Cornet are keeping the beat
Cheerleaders Fasick and Walter are turning up the heat.
Soccer star Doug Hoffman smashes one to the net.
High jumper Eric Hansen soars to his best height yet.
So many games, was there time to read a book?
Samuda taught us Spanish, and Jaquette how to cook..
Welsh and Byron's math classes were tough.
History was learned from Ryan, and Huff.
Now that you have Van Halen buzzing in your brain,
I'll get to the point. Let me explain.
I'm asking you to contribute to the EHS Hall of Fame.
Your gift is for tuition for two Einstein students to claim.

Russ BradshawFormer ChairmanAEHS Hall of FameClass of '64
Four years ago the AEHS Athletic Hall of Fame was
founded.. As part of the founding inductee class, I am writing on behalf of the
"Jack Keller Legacy Award" and the "Kit Pardee Award". These awards were founded
to honor the top male and female athlete at Einstein with a $2500
scholarship. We have instituted an annual Golf Outing which this year is being
held on May 11, 2009 and in order to help raise scholarship money we have
instituted a class challenge for these scholarships. Your contribution will be
tax deductible and should be made out to the Albert Einstein Hall of
Fame.
As member of the Class of 1964,
I challenge all my classmates to donate a minimum of $25 and hopefully we will
be the leaders in fund-raising for Jack and make the class of '64 number 1
again...
thanks for your
support.

Bob Richards and Pat Berbakos ChallengeClass of '69 To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the year of our graduation lets all step-up to the plate and show everyone what the class of '69 is made of! The Jack Keller Scholarship Award and the Kit Pardee Award provide financial assistance to a deserving AEHS senior male and senior female outstanding student-athlete. The scholarship awards are one of the primary missions of the AEHS Athletic Hall of Fame. We ask your support of the awards with a minimum $25 tax deductible donation.
Your generosity in supporting the awards and giving back to the school is greatly appreciated.

Gary Martin - Class of '66
"Hey Class of 1966, let's help the Einstein athletes and see if we can
surpass last year's Class Challenge leaders, the Class of '65. I know we can do
it. For a minimum tax-deductible donation of $25, you can make a difference to
the students at Einstein. For the second year in row, thanks to your donations,
we will be able to make a scholarship award in the name of our beloved Coach
Jack Keller, and one in the name of legendary Einstein athlete, Kit Pardee.
Let's keep this program going and growing. Go Class of '66!"

Rob Westwood, Dick Richards and John Gossage Class of '65 "We want to say thank you very much for your support in the Hall of Fame class challenge last year. We were the leaders! Again, we want to ask your support with a $25 tax deductible donation to help with the Jack Keller and Kit Pardee scholarships and keep the class of '65 first, as we always were.
We would also like to see a lot of you at the golf outing on May 11."
|
Larry Rosen - Class of '77 "As a graduate of the 'Class of 1977' I would like to challenge my friends and classmates to assist with the Hall of Fame's efforts to raise money to help accomplish its primary mission of supporting the various athletic programs at Einstein H.S., and providing annual scholarship awards to the outstanding senior male and female student-athletes at Einstein. Your donations will also help in our outreach efforts to contact and enlist the support of other past Einstein students. Please assist us by making a tax-deductible contribution of $25 or more to this most worthy cause. This is a great opportunity to give back and support your graduating class. Thank you so much!"

CLASS CHALLENGE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At last year's golf tournament, the most successful fundraiser was the Class Challenge. That was where each graduating class from Einstein would have classmates donate a minimum of $25 for their class. The class with the most money raised would be placed at the first tee and the second class with the next highest amount would be placed at the second tee, and so on.
I challenge all inductees to solicit support from their class so we may reach our goal of providing scholarships to this year's recipients of the Kit Pardee and Jack Keller awards.
We need only 7 more foursomes for our golf tournament and lots of spectators, so come out to compete, to socialize and to support our tourney.
