Golf
Tournament: "Resounding success!"

The Second Annual AEHS Hall of Fame Golf
Tournament was held Monday, May 11, 2009 at Montgomery Country Club in
Laytonsville, MD. Just like last year, it was a resounding success! We had
over 95 participants and 25 sponsors who gave their time and money to help
deserving athletes at AEHS.

The tournament winners were the foursome of Pace
Bradshaw, Mike Plainte, Ramsey Williams and Skip Clasper, with a score of
58; an amazing 14 under par. We had good
weather and great support from the staff at Montgomery Country Club.
Many thanks to the Head Pro, Josh Shepard and the
Event Coordinator, Valencia Lewis.

Proceeds from the tournament went
to AEHS Hall of Fame athletic and scholarship funds, including the Jack Keller
Legacy Award Fund (outstanding male athlete) and the Kit Pardee Scholarship
Fund (outstanding female athlete).

At the luncheon following golf, we awarded a $2,500
scholarship each to Ricky Echeona and Andie Solomon, both AEHS Class of
2009. Ricky Echeona will be attending The University of Maryland and Andie Solomon will be attending The University of Colorado. We wish them the best of luck in their college
endeavors.

I am personally grateful to everyone in the
AEHS Hall of Fame community who helped make this event possible and look forward
to everyone's participation next year. Mark your calendar for May 10,
2010.

I would like to take this time to
thank Paul Remson and Rick Eisenacher for their hard work and dedication to
create a terrific 2nd Annual Hall of Fame Golf Tournament. It was a BIG success and fun was had by all.
To the many volunteers and to
Montgomery Country Club, it would not have HAPPENED without your help. To JD the DJ, what can I say but another
JOB WELL DONE!!!
A BIG THANK YOU to the GOLFERS, SPONSORS, SPECTATORS and CLASS CHALLENGERS for all of your
support in making these HOF Scholarships possible.
Because the CLASS CHALLENGE dollars are so close,
the Hall of Fame has decided to let the competition run until May 31, 2009.
So get on the BANDWAGON and FIGHT for your CLASS. Tell your classmates to DONATE and sign up in AEHS HOF ALUMNI database.
