Jack Keller Legacy Award Scholarship Presented
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ricky Echeona The second annual Jack Keller Legacy Award scholarship was presented to Rick Echeona during the awards luncheon at Hall of Fame Golf Tournament on May 11, at the Montgomery Country Club.  The award is named in honor of Jack Keller, who taught and coached at Einstein from 1962 to 1970, and was an inspiration to many AEHS student-athletes.
Ricky has been a 3-sport star at Einstein, and excelled at wrestling where he was named the team MVP this year and advanced to the Maryland State Wrestling Tournament.  To accomplish this, Ricky had to overcome a devastating knee injury suffered while playing football in his junior year.
Ricky was joined at the ceremony by his Mother, Grace and is planning to go on to the University of Maryland, College Park where he wants to focus on broadcast media.  The HOF congratulates Ricky and wishes him well in all of his future endeavors.
